EcoHealth Wellness Center & Detox Spa Opens In Mount Pleasant Just In Time For Cooper River Bridge Run

Hosting “Recovery Week” April 7-12 to Soothe Post-Race Injuries

EcoHealth Wellness Center & Detox Spa, the Lowcountry’s new premier holistic wellness center, is now open at 1051 Johnnie Dodds Blvd., Suite B, in Mount Pleasant just in time for April’s 37th Annual Cooper River Bridge Run. To soothe the post-race injuries for runners and walkers of this wildly popular 10K, EcoHealth Wellness Center & Detox Spa is hosting a “Recovery Week” April 7 -12, 2014. During Recovery Week, runners and walkers can take advantage of:  one (1) complimentary Migun relaxation massage and one (1) Infrared Sauna Session and unlimited Kangen water. They can also enjoy discounted spa services, consultations on nutrition and detox/body cleanse programs and more. This is a limited offer for Cooper River Bridge walkers/runners only. Bring your number to redeem this free package. Expires April 30, 2014.

To schedule your Recovery Week appointment or find out the benefits of the sessions, call 843.884.4466.

The center, which opened March 2014, is the brainchild of Tiffany Jackson, who holds a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona. Jackson, a local mom and wife, saw the increasing need for a resource for individuals interested in discovering a healthier way to live. Already personalizing nutrition programs for digestive health, weight loss, cancer and autism support, she wanted to create a center that could use her Integrative Nutrition Programs with state-of-the-art wellness and detoxification services that meet the health needs of the whole person. Her staff includes a Medical Director, Ariane Cometa, Dr. Evan Kay, Chiropractor; Sandy Eulas, a Certified Holistic Coach;  Mandy Mitchell, EcoHealth Detox Therapist; AnneLauren Jolly, Licensed Aesthetician & Makeup Artist and continues to grow.

Recovery Week is the first of many events Jackson and her staff have planned to educate the community about preventative and functional medicine.

“Recovering after a long run like the Bridge Run is imperative. Using our infrared saunas can help reduce soreness, muscle spasms and increase blood flow to areas that need it. While a 30 minute Migun massage can give them a full thermal-massage treatment to encourage relaxation and remove toxins that build up during the run. Your overall system needs to recover long after that run.” says Jackson.
