Firefly Distillery Unveils A Sweet New Addition: Southern Accents Liqueurs

Three Delicious Liqueurs Made in the Heart of the Lowcountry Now Statewide Firefly Distillery is proud to announce their newest creations, Southern Accents Liqueurs are now available in South Carolina. Firefly Distillery is the first to craft liqueurs in the spirit of these down-home favorites which include Southern Accents Banana Pudding Liqueur, Southern Accents Peach Cobbler Liqueur, and Southern Accents Pecan Pie Liqueur.  Each liqueur will bring back memories of the past from your grandmother’s pecan pie or mom’s famous banana pudding. Created with family dessert recipes that have been passed down for generations, these savory liqueurs were previously available only at the Firefly Distillery on 6775 Bears Bluff Road on Wadmalaw Island; and guests would make a special trip just to purchase them. It’s a Hoppin’ Good Time at the Second Annual Bunnies & Bluegrass Festival

It’s a hoppin’ good time at the vineyard for the Second Annual Bunnies and Bluegrass Children’s Festival at Irvin~House Vineyards on Saturday, April 28 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. The festival is open to the public, admission is only $10.00 per car. This family friendly event has something for everyone.  Come meet “I Declaire”, the miniature cow, and our adopted animals from Rosebank Farms. Children can enjoy an egg hunt, fun with hula hoops, games, face painting, balloon artist, jump castle and more. Guests can also shop local craft vendors.  Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket to picnic on the expansive lawn and food will be available for purchase from Farm on Fire and Greg’s Dogs. Music will be provided by the Hungry Monks. Sippin’ Saturdays are back at Irvin~House Vineyard. Escape to a relaxing day of live music from Cotton Blue Band and delicious food from Hello! My name is BBQ, this Saturday, April 7 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Irvin~House Vineyards on Wadmalaw Island. Bring your lawn chairs & blankets to picnic under the oaks and relish in the Lowcountry beauty. Every Saturday through spring through fall, the winery will serve up a different local food vendor and musical group to entertain locals and visitors.  There is no admission fee but patrons are encouraged to bring their cash and credit for a wide variety of libations and food options.
