Halloween Bash at The Rusty Rudder Mount Pleasant

It’s all treats this Halloween as The Rusty Rudder Mount Pleasant hosts its first Halloween Bash on Friday, October 31 at 8:00 p.m..  Located at 3563 N. Hwy 17, ghouls and goblins can enjoy live music from Disco Lemonade, spooktacular drink specials featuring Malibu, Kahlua and Jameson liquors, $3.00 Corona specials, full and late night menu plus the chance to win up to $1000 in cash and prizes for Best Costume. Tickets can be purchased in advance on location for $20 or for $25 at the door. The first 100 guests will receive a special Halloween Treat. 

In addition to the live music, cocktails and specials, guests can try their hand at the Mad Hatter toss, bobbing for apples and a costume contest with categories including:  Best Costume, Most Original Costume and Best Group/Couple Costume. Prizes will range from $1000 in cash prizes to gift cards, apparel and more.

Say Hello To Fall at Irvin~House Vineyard’s 12th Annual Blessing of the Vines Festival

Praying for a bountiful harvest for more than a decade, Irvin~House Vineyards invites the public to the 12th Annual Blessing of the Vines Festival on Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m, located at 6775 Bears Bluff Road on Wadmalaw Island. Guests can witness the blessing of the muscadine grapevines by Father Greg Snyder. This centuries-old tradition is used by vineyards from around the world to celebrate the new harvest, robust vines and savory grapes. The event is open to the public, admission is $10.00 per car and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Frierson Elementary After School Program and The Center for Women.
