Ugh oh! I've tried to stay away from doing this for years...yet I've finally had to say yes...I've been asked to model in an upcoming funky cool fashion show hosted by my friend and client Angelique Cunningham of rosita jones studio. Now if you've ever met me, you know I'm no taller than a Keebler elf and slightly round in the middle, so seeing me model vintage clothing will definitely be a sight! But heck, I guess I should try it - and mark it off my bucket list. So join me for this free night of fun...and I won't be mad if you make fun of me doing my best impression of Naomi Campbell's walk...  It’s an art meets fashion extravaganza on Friday, March 25 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. as rosita jones studio. teams up with SCOOP studios Contemporary Art Gallery to showcase vintage fashion looks combined with the multiple photo realism of artist Kenton James, for a night art and fashion lovers will never forget at the “rosita loves SCOOP” event. The first installment of the monthly series will occur on Wednesday, March 23 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at The Square Onion Too! at 411 Coleman Boulevard. A $10 donation is requested and with their donation, patrons will enjoy libations, music, snacks and more. The donation will go to a local nonprofit chosen for the event.   For the first installment of the event on March 23, patrons can enjoy a wine tasting with proceeds from the event going to S.W.A.T., Southern Women Animal Task force. “This is a great way for the community to come together, donate ten dollars and have a good time but still make a difference in the lives of local nonprofits. There are so many wonderful nonprofits in town, this event spotlights them in a relaxing, fun environment.” said Mary
