Bringing the family back to the table for dinner has been one of Square Onion’s missions for almost a decade. To kickstart their mission, Square Onion is proud to announce a new monthly Wednesday Night Supper event on October 10, 2012, where guests can enjoy a delicious four course meal for only $38 per person. Wine pairings are available at an additional cost.  The first Wednesday Night Supper is Wednesday, October 10 at 7:00 p.m. at 18 Resolute Lane, I’On in Mount Pleasant. Raising money has gone to the dogs. Square Onion is proud to announce Lilly’s Yappy Hour on Thursday, October 4, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. to  help raise funds and awareness for Liza's Lifeline Pet Program with a Yappy Hour in honor of Dara Watson's dog, Lilly, This pet program provides funds to assist victims of domestic violence with the care of their animals until they get back on their feet. A $10 donation at the door is requested.  Bring your friends, family and your favorite fur friend to Square Onion for Lilly’s Yappy Hour for live music, snacks, wine, dog treats and great giveaways. All donations will be used specifically for vetting, feeding and/or boarding of victimized animals.  Dara’s dog, Lilly, was a frequent visitor to Planet Bark Dog Resort in Mount Pleasant, a sister company to Square Onion. Each year, more than one million people in the United States are diagnosed with cancer. With an emerging body of research suggesting that physical activity not only has a positive effect on quality of life following a diagnosis of cancer, but may also improve survival, Dragon Boat Charleston aims to provide an outlet for physical and mental wellness for those cancer survivors in the Lowcountry. The Square Onion Too! Is pleased to announce that Dragon Boat Charleston has been selected as the beneficiary of the August installment of Pour It Forward. This monthly wine tasting giving event will happen on Wednesday, July 20 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Square Onion Too! at 411 Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant. To celebrate an area of Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant that is seeing a revitalization with an influx of new businesses and zest,  Square Onion Too, Earthly Artifacts and Awendaw Green are joining forces to present the first Coleman Point Village Art and Music Festival on Saturday, June 18 from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. at 411 Coleman Boulevard. With four live bands, unique art and a variety of food and beverages, admission is only $10 and proceeds benefit local nonprofits Daisy’s Place and Southern Women Animal Task Force.  Along with local food trucks and beverages, local bands Fowler’s Mustache, Corduroy Road, Doug Jones and Friends and Sons of Summer will entertain the masses during this six hour event.
