Say A Blessing for a Great Harvest at Irvin~House Vineyard and Firefly Distillery’s 13th Annual Blessing of the Vines

Join Irvin~House Vineyards and Firefly Distillery in the centuries old tradition of blessing the vines and toasting to a burgeoning harvest with the Irvin~House Vineyard and Firefly Distillery 13th Annual Blessing of the Vines Festival on Saturday, November 7,  2015 from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m, located at 6775 Bears Bluff Road on Wadmalaw Island. 


Irvin~House Vineyards invites you for a day full of family fun with activities including the annual blessing of muscadine grapevines by Father Greg Snyder, Irvin~House Vineyards wine and Firefly Distillery tastings, live music from Honey Smoke and the Matt MacKelcan Band. The event is open to the public; admission is $10.00 per car.  Tasty food vendors such as Chucktown Mobile Seafood, Gidget Gourmet and Linen’s BBQ will be on-site selling their homemade eats. 
At next Saturday's Blessing of the Vines Festival, there will also be a Firefly Spirits​ Bake OFF! The Loophole​, Sweeney's​ and Sunrise Bistro​ will create one dessert using a Firef…

Celebrate and Donate! The Rusty Rudder Oktoberfest Taking Donations for SC Flood Victims This Saturday

In wake of the recent and ongoing South Carolina storm devastation and deadly flooding, The Rusty Rudder Mount Pleasant, located at 3562 N. Hwy 17, is spreading the sunshine this Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 at their Oktoberfest celebration by encouraging all guests to bring a donation for flood victims. For each donation received patrons (over the age of 21) will get one Oktoberfest drink ticket or can request a $5.00 donation to be made from The Rusty Rudder Mount Pleasant to one of the many flood relief organizations helping to rebuild S.C. The event is free to the public and festivities begin at 1:00 p.m.
The Rusty Rudder Oktoberfest guests can bring tangible items, gift cards or monetary donations to aid in the relief efforts for flood victims in the Lowcountry and throughout the state of S.C. d to help with numerous causes including but not limited to The Lowcountry SC Chapter of the American Red Cross , a destroyed animal shelter, and even individual families.
