The Thanksgiving holiday is a day where friends and families come together to give thanks and celebrate, but often the stress that comes with preparing the Thanksgiving meal can be overwhelming. Send that stress packing and enjoy a relaxing holiday with Cru Catering’s Thanksgiving Dinner Pick Up option.  It’s as easy as placing an order and picking up the day before Thanksgiving. All you have to do is heat the necessary dishes. Heating instructions will be included providing you a fool-proof, delicious meal without the hassle.  Cru Catering’s Thanksgiving dinner will include roasted turkey, traditional Southern-style stuffing, housemade giblet gravy, port wine cranberry sauce, a roasted pumpkin and arugula salad, whipped sweet potatoes, caramelized braised Brussels sprouts and a mouthwatering bourbon pecan pie dessert. Raise a Glass! Irvin~House Vineyards Celebrates 10th Annual Blessing of the Vines Festival

Raise a glass to celebrate a decade of wine making!  Irvin~House Vineyards, Charleston’s only vineyard and winery, is celebrating ten years of  blessings  at the 10th Annual  Blessing  of the Vines Festival on Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. until  5:00 p.m. The public will enjoy wine and Firefly tastings, live music from Cane Creek, food from local vendors and crafts along with their chance to witness the  blessing  of muscadine grapevines by Father Greg Snyder. The event is open to the public, admission is $10.00 per car and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Frierson Elementary After School Program. Located at 6775 Bears Bluff Road on Wadmalaw Island, the public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket to relax on the expansive lawn, no coolers please. Square Onion Kicks Off Monthly Wednesday Night Supper Event

Bringing the family back to the table for dinner has been one of Square Onion’s missions for almost a decade. To kickstart their mission, Square Onion is proud to announce a new monthly Wednesday Night Supper event on October 10, 2012, where guests can enjoy a delicious four course meal for only $38 per person. Wine pairings are available at an additional cost.  The first Wednesday Night Supper is Wednesday, October 10 at 7:00 p.m. at 18 Resolute Lane, I’On in Mount Pleasant.
