Sippin' Saturdays are BACK at Irvin~House Vineyards




Sippin’ Saturdays are back at Irvin~House Vineyard. Escape to a relaxing day of live music from Cotton Blue Band and delicious food from Hello! My name is BBQ, this Saturday, April 7 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Irvin~House Vineyards on Wadmalaw Island. Bring your lawn chairs & blankets to picnic under the oaks and relish in the Lowcountry beauty.
Every Saturday through spring through fall, the winery will serve up a different local food vendor and musical group to entertain locals and visitors.  There is no admission fee but patrons are encouraged to bring their cash and credit for a wide variety of libations and food options. The famous Irvin~House Vineyards Wine-a-Ritas will be served on the patio and Irvin~House Vineyards wine may be purchased by the glass or bottle and enjoyed outside. Tastings in the Firefly Vodka distillery and Irvin~House Vineyard winery are only$6.00 to taste 6 of 15 flavors of Firefly Vodka, Sea Island Rums or our Southern Accents liqueur and $4.00 to taste 5 wines. Patrons will receive complimentary glasses during both tastings.

Trauma Expert Dr. Jennifer White-Baughan Accepting New Patients

Charleston’s loss is Sausalito's gain. Expert trauma psychologist, Dr. Jennifer White-Baughan Ph.D, has relocated her office from Charleston, SC, to Sausalito (1505 Bridgeway) and a part time office in Mill Valley. Her impact upon not only myself, but many trauma survivors, is beyond explanation and I’m here today because of her EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprogramming) and trauma survivor work with me  due to the murder of my friend in our home.    Ironically, the trauma expert became a trauma patient.   While living in Bali (during her transition from East Coast to West Coast), it was a surreal time for Jennifer— the people, the smells, the beauty — the last thing she expected was to be pummeled by a motorbike in May 2016, knocking her down to the gravel ground that not only imprinted small rocks into her head and face… but imprinted upon her grey matter. She was injured with a severe brain bleed in her visual cortex.
