Create Your Own Burger and Win $250 from Big Billy’s Burger Joint “Build a Burger” Contest

Love burgers? Think you have what it takes to build a burger that would have others asking to see it on a menu? Then enter the Big Billy’s Burger Joint “Build a Burger” Contest for your chance to win $250 and the addition of your unique burger creation to the Big Billy’s Burger Joint menu specials. 

 Building your own burger is easy and fun! Simply visit Big Billy’s at 5070 International Boulevard in North Charleston, ask your server for an entry form, create and taste your best burger and visit the Facebook page for the weekly winners and updates. 

 But it’s not limited to beef burgers, you can build your burger by choosing turkey, black bean or chicken as well. A full list of toppings, cheese and condiments are available at www.bigbillysburgerjoint.com 


Contestants can enter as often as they’d like. One weekly winner will be chosen every Friday and have their burger featured in the restaurant and on Facebook. The first weekly winner was chosen on Friday, August 2, 2013. A winner each week will be chosen for a total six weeks. Each weekly winner will be entered into the finals. On September 14,2013, we will award the winning burgers and the $250 cash prize.

Local Kidney Transplant Recipient Everett German Takes On the Charleston Kidney Walk

One in eight South Carolinians has chronic kidney disease and South Carolina is fifth in the nation with the number of patients on dialysis. One of those patients once on dialysis is College of Charleston basketball radio commentator and former television talk show host Everett German. Today, he’s as healthy as he ever has been, thanks to a kidney transplant on June 8, 2011.  To celebrate his second chance at life, German took the lead on bringing a walk to Charleston to help provide Awareness, Prevention and Treatment to the Lowcountry. Noisy Oyster Celebrates 25 Years With a Facelift and Menu Enhancements

Fourth generation restauranteur Wade Boals and business partner Brett Yearout are proud to showcase the new renovations and menu enhancements at both Noisy Oyster Restaurant locations, located at 7842 Rivers Avenue and 24 N Market St, in honor of their 25 years in the Lowcountry restaurant scene. With the help from famed chef Bob Waggoner, Boals and Yearout enhanced the menu with more local ingredients and a farm-to-table perspective. Waggoner also consulted on plate presentation.
