  Working in local TV news was something I wanted to do since I was a child...ask my parents, I would stage interviews and anchor from the couch in our ranch-style home when we had smooth wood hugging the TV and its 4 channels. ABC, NBC, CBS & PBS during the 1980s. My dad is a news lover and from a young age, I always watched news. Most parents in today's world would say "She's too young. You can't expose kids to that!" Dorian's wrath on Firefly Sunset Resort in Abaco

 Saying a prayer for Firefly Sunset Resort in Hope Town, Abaco, Bahamas. We've been lucky enough to work with them for almost a decade. Sadly, Hurricane Dorian made landfall on the small paradise Elbow Cay, the home of Firefly Sunset Resort. The hurricane was so damaging for Abaco and Grand Bahama, but we know how strong those residents are and they will rebuild. Raising Their Wine Glass for The Final Time: Irvin~House Vineyards Sold To New Family

  It’s with bittersweet emotions that Jim and Ann Irvin announce that their property and Charleston’s only winery, Irvin~House Vineyards, has been sold to the Freiwald family. Tastings and gatherings at the winery and Firefly Distillery will continue as normal. The Irvin family wish to thank everyone from around the world who made a special trip to their “little piece of heaven” and became a part of the vineyard family. They wish the Freiwald family well as they carry on the legacy of being Charleston’s only estate winery.  Purchased in 2001 by newlyweds, Jim and Ann Irvin, the original land that would become Irvin~House Vineyards was a boarding area for a local carriage company. Together, they had a dream to create a vineyard growing muscadine grapes. Muscadines are the only grapes that will grow in the humid climate of the Lowcountry.
