Wine and Canvas Announces Relaunch in Charleston


Wine and Canvas Charleston, mobile art entertainment at its finest, is proud to announce Erinne Scarborough as the new Charleston location partner/owner-operator. Scarborough has worked in the food and beverage industry for more than two decades here in the Lowcountry with past career experience at Firefly Distillery and Peninsula Grill. Wine and Canvas Charleston brings the party to you - whether at your favorite local venues, corporate gatherings or even your own living room - the concept is to create a memorable event filled with laughter and a creativity. Wine and Canvas provides everything necessary to re-create the painting of your choice and including a local artist/instructor to guide you step-by-step. All attendees take home a gallery-wrapped masterpiece. 
While Wine and Canvas is one of Charleston’s most popular ladies night out activities, it is also a wonderful addition to a couple’s date night, birthday party, bachelorette party, bridal/baby showers, company’s team-building experience and many more. They even have Cookies & Canvas classes for the kids. 
Wine and Canvas partners with several of the Lowcountry’s favorite restaurants and hotels. Some of Wine and Canvas Charleston’s partners include The Rusty Rudder Mount Pleasant, Ms. Rose’s Fine Food and Cocktails, Gilligan’s Steamer and Raw Bar, Two Keys Tavern, The Loophole, The Vendue, The Inn at Middleton Place and Firefly Distillery, Holy City Brewing and many of Charleston’s finest apartment communities. Their partner list is extensive and growing.
“As a mom of two, I know it’s hard to take time for yourself. With Wine and Canvas, you have a couple of hours to unleash your creativity and relax. One Monday Each Month during Miracle Mondays at The Rusty Rudder Mount Pleasant

Farewell to Dean Stephens of WCIV-TV

  Working in local TV news was something I wanted to do since I was a child...ask my parents, I would stage interviews and anchor from the couch in our ranch-style home when we had smooth wood hugging the TV and its 4 channels. ABC, NBC, CBS & PBS during the 1980s. My dad is a news lover and from a young age, I always watched news. Most parents in today's world would say "She's too young. You can't expose kids to that!" But when did a Nelson truly listen to other people? I grew up watching Charleston TV news. I idolized local reporters during Hurricane Hugo like Cathy O'Hara, had a crush on Dan Krosse and was even scared to walk up to Kellen Butler when we were both at the Music Farm.
