“FREE HOOPS FOR KIDS” PROGRAM PRESENTED BY PALMETTO EXTERMINATORS AND BJ’S WHOLESALE CLUB DELIVERING THOUSANDS OF TICKET VOUCHERS TO LOWCOUNTRY STUDENTS

The 2017 CAA Men’s Basketball Championship is proud to announce that more than 40,000 FREE ticket vouchers for students - age 5-12 years old - are being distributed to children for their opportunity to attend a session of their choice to the Championship thanks to the generosity of Palmetto Exterminators and BJ’s Wholesale Club’s Free Hoops for Kids Program. Along with a paying adult, children will receive free admission to a session of their choice making it an affordable, family-friendly event full of excitement and athleticism.

The Colonial Athletic Association’s commitment to expose children from the Lowcountry to basketball was integral for its inaugural year in Charleston. Working closely with the Charleston County School District, Berkeley County School District, Dorchester County School District Two and other educational centers, the vouchers are currently being distributed by the school districts. It’s because of Palmetto Exterminators and BJ’s Wholesale Club commitment to Lowcountry families, children will have the opportunity to see Division I college basketball in their own back yard.

The voucher can be redeemed at the North Charleston Coliseum Box office. Box office hours at the North Charleston Coliseum are Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Lowcountry is the home of the CAA Men’s Basketball Championship for 2017 through 2019 with CAA conference teams including College of Charleston, University of Delaware, Drexel, Elon, James Madison University, Hofstra University, Towson, Northeastern University, UNCW and College of William & Mary.
