Driving the success of this year’s Classic is the main sponsor, Hendrick Automotive Group Charleston/North Charleston. An integral part of past years’ events, Hendrick Automotive Group Charleston/North Charleston has always supported local high schools and focuses on the importance of teen driving safety.

Last year, the proceeds from the Classic allowed the Sertoma Club of Charleston to award over $91,000.00 to local charities and high schools that participated in the event. Those charities receiving financial awards have been chosen because they serve children and families throughout the Tri-county area. The charities that are supported include Windwood Family Services, Eagle Harbor Boys Ranch, The Ronald McDonald House, Camp Happy Days, The Boys Scouts, The GreenHeart Project, and Trinitas.  The Sertoma Club of Charleston will celebrate their 65th anniversary this year.
