Show the Kids Some Love This Valentine’s Day: Kids Play Garden Offering Valentine’s Day Parents Night Out at Both Locations

If you’re a parent, you know it’s hard to spend quality alone time with your spouse or partner. And finding a babysitter on Valentine’s Day weekend can be impossible. But thanks to Valentine’s Day Parents Night Out at Kids Play GardenMount Pleasant and Kids Play Garden South Windermere, parents now can enjoy America’s sweetest holiday. On Saturday, February 13th, drop the kids off any time after 5:00 p.m. for a fun evening of crafts, games, play, pizza and a movie. Both locations are pajama-friendly, so parents can pick up the children all ready for bed. 


It’s one of the most affordable ways to get great, innovative care in an eco-friendly environment. Costs for the evening are $30 for one child, $50 for two children and $75 for three children for three hours (your choice) any time between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The price includes the pizza dinner. Play Garden Mount Pleasant is located at 320 West Coleman Boulevard and Play Garden Charleston (South Windermere) is located in the South Windermere Shopping Center. This unique concept offers learning through educational games, crafts and other activities for toddlers as well as pre-teens, plus programs including a Moms Morning Out preschool curriculum, homework help club, Lego fun, and seasonal camps when school’s out. Farewell to Dean Stephens of WCIV-TV

  Working in local TV news was something I wanted to do since I was a child...ask my parents, I would stage interviews and anchor from the couch in our ranch-style home when we had smooth wood hugging the TV and its 4 channels. ABC, NBC, CBS & PBS during the 1980s. My dad is a news lover and from a young age, I always watched news. Most parents in today's world would say "She's too young. You can't expose kids to that!" But when did a Nelson truly listen to other people? I grew up watching Charleston TV news. I idolized local reporters during Hurricane Hugo like Cathy O'Hara, had a crush on Dan Krosse and was even scared to walk up to Kellen Butler when we were both at the Music Farm.
